Details

• Turn key to stage one in ignition and then remove
• Within 30 seconds of this
  • Hold the unlock button down on the key fob
  • Press the unlock (BMW button) 3 times – you should see the door locks activate on the car
• Test!

Not tried this yet – but loads of positive comments on the video covering a lot of different models and key fobs. Certainly worth a go before spending any money to get it fixed.
